How can I convince my mom to let my get my cartilage pierced?

I'm 13 and I got my earlobes pierced when I was about 10. I really really want to get my cartiage pierced but my mom is very anti-piercings and stuff like that. It took me ten years to convince her to let me get my earlobes pierced. I really want this done for my birthday which is in four months. What can I do?

sit her down, and tell her why you want it.
let her no that if you or her are not happy with it,
it can be taken out.

if youre gunna be turning 14,
i think you old enough to make the right desicion about getting your ears pierced.

well let me tell ya first.. there are some good reasons not to get it done first because if its not properly taken care of it can get badly infected or if your cartilage is too wide your ear will swallow the ring so be careful but if you are only 13 your moms gotta be there for the consent of the procedure so just keep workin her up till she gives in.. give her good reasons witch i myself cant give ya any cuz i cant think of any lol but i really don't know if i helped much but good luck

Wait till your 18. In the mean time get some cool ear cuffs. They create a fun look and will make your mom happier. Believe "me if mom ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!"

I would say just wait til your 18 .. or you can just be honest with her and let her know how bad you really want it . Maybe a talk will do you good ? Just be honest.

Wait 'til you're 21. Your mom is sensible. Never get a permanent mutilation for what might be a temporary fad.

well either wait til you're 16/18/21 (i dunno what country you're in so..whatever the legal adult age limit is)

or just...go out & do it. once done it cant be undone & your mom cant say yay or nay anymore.

or, compromise & just get on piercing done instead of 2....
