Turtles will eat snails, and the calcium in the snail's shell is good for them.I had an aquarium, and the snails were getting out of control,so I would feed the surplus snails to my box turtles. They loved them, and it never did them any harm.Of course if the snail is very large in proportion to the turtles, then they won't eat them.

If your turtles were caught in the wild, and in particular if they were caught in the same area as the snails, then it is a tentative yes. The snails may harbour parasites detrimental to the turtles health, and if you bought the turtles at a pet store and the snails are wild, definitely not.
However, I have never known turtles to eat snails, I fed mine crickets, and the occasional toad tadpoles (smaller than frog tadpoles, and black) or gold fish.

We have two snails in our tank and our turtle is perfectly healthy and he doesn't even seem to notice them. They really help to keep the tank clean too!
