I know I often dress as a ninja to mow my lawn...oh wait, I don't do that...I pay ninjas to do that for me...my bad.

may be not probably not, I wear black pants and black shirts alot, never when cutting grass, when grass cutting I try to wear camouflage. LOL.

If he used a kama hand scythe, then definitely yes.
If not, it was probably either a Catholic priest doing penance or an environmentalist in mourning (because he had to hurt the lawn)
