If you mean a capital letter, as you see you have spelled it wrong. A capital letter comes at the beginning of every sentence, the beginning of a person's name, the names of cities, even breeds of dogs, so that's that for a capital letter.

For 'capitol,' that would be the capitol of a state, such as Sacramento being the capitol of California... lots of all kinds of capitals and one capitol there, huh.
