i like shows with demons in it like inuyasha so would it be worth watching and what is it about?

Claymore has awesome story line and character developments. It's a little in the gore side thought. We're talking about cutting limbs and decapitation. It's more angst to. Inuyasha would be considered mild compare to Claymore.
Personally, Claymore is an awesome series. They just recently finished 26 episodes. Hopefully they will have a season 2 for the anime. Manga is still ongoing.

Since you like demon hunting and that stuff, I recommend you to watch claymore. Plus, Sango's voice actress does Claire.
I would say skip episode 22-26 since they are crap episodes which don't follow the manga at all. It would have been more memorable if it ended at ep 21 which leaves open for a second season.

If your talking about Claymore the anime, then no. For me anyways.
After the first episode it got very dull and boring. The plot was original in a way but it was hard to keep up with what was going on.
