Really. Where can I give Congress a "Thumbs Down" for engaging in pissing matches when we have soldiers fighting over seas, enemies plotting against us, and a whole mess of other problems?

I asked myself that question as well... but the real answer is: its us, its the people on this forum, its the American people. Look at the answers you get, either all the way left or all the way right, only the loonies on either side tend to vote.. We need more Centrists or at least people who can talk and listen. The issue is, the interest groups on the right and the left have money, our government is funded and elected by the money.. so you can only vote for those who have already been funded by interest groups.. not sure what the answer is, but it will continue until we can somehow fix the money or the people....

Touche would be an excellent response. In fencing there is thrust and parry and the point is scored with a legal touch. That doesn't mean you won the match but recognition that your excellent response resulted in a point. Touched love would be love returned or an excellent response to being loved.

Unfortunately, our president is a "Bush League" type of leader, and his VP is named "Dick." These two knuckleheads got us into this mess, and it has created a large chasm between the two main parties.
Save the "Thumbs Down" for the president and his attack dog.
