I answered a question about Nancy Wilson, and deleted it. I had her confused with Ann Wilson (Heart). Anyway, who remembers that beautiful song called "Alone." If you will type the word "Alone" by Heart, you can hear it. Please share your feelings about this song.
I love it.

Actually, there are two Nancy Wilsons in music: a black singer from the 1960s and beyond, and Ann Wilson's sister, who is also in the band Heart.

"Alone" is a pretty good song with a powerful vocal. Sometimes I make a joke of the key line: "How can I get you a loan?"

I hear the ticking of the clock
I'm lying here the room's pitch dark
I wonder where you are tonight
No answer on the telephone
And the night goes by so very slow
Ohh, I hope that it won't end though
Alone
Till now I always got by on my own
I never really cared until I met you
And now it chills me to the bone
How do I get you alone
How do I get you alone
You don't know how long I have wanted
to touch your lips and hold you tight,
You don't know how long I have waited
and I was going to tell you tonight
But the secret is still my own
and my love for you is still unknown
Alone
ohh yea, yea
Till now, I always got by on my own,
I never really cared until I met you
And now it chills me to the bone
How do I get you alone
How do I get you alone
How do I get you alone
How do I get you alone
Alone, alone

Gets you going doesn't it? You have to feel sorry for wives of play-time, fun seeking spouses who leave then alone and lonely.

You have great taste as I love this song as well! I have for many years now! lol

I was very fortunate to get to see Heart, in concert, every year, at the Texas Jam! Those two girls rocked that place with "Crazy On You." Oh! "The Dog and Butterfly." "Heartless!" Unfortunately, I started maturing and filled my time with work, school and rearing two girls! lol So, I stopped going to concerts as there was simply, not enough time and the crowds started bothering me!

Awwwwww, the "good ol' days." Carefree and not a brain in my head! roflol!

I love 'Alone' by Heart. When I am in a sad mood, I listen to it. It always seems to make me feel better. I don't know why.
