I define beauty as that which brings enjoyment to the person who looks or contemplates. When we say something is beautiful, are we recommending to others that they should take delight in it? Beauty may be inter-subjective, but is it objective? Can we argue rationally about whether something is beautiful? Is beauty both skin deep and in the eyes of the beholder? Let us distinguish between surface beauty and deep beauty.
If we think something is beautiful then we want everyone to agree with us. Would the world be better off if everyone agreed on what is beautiful? I think the world would not be better off because what we find beautiful is a reflection of our personality and individuality. What can we learn about ourselves from what we find beautiful? I think that it illuminates our style. Is taste a function of education and economics?
Is natural beauty ever better than constructed beauty, like in art or music? Do beauty and happiness go together? What is the relation between beauty and the sublime? I say that the sublime is our reaction in the face of something so overpowering that it consumes or obliterates us. There is a saying that truth is beauty and beauty is truth, but is that correct? Some may think it is false. Why does beauty matter?

Beautiful to me are Precious Babies.
They are just such a Wonderful Creation.
When they first start to smile.Oh God, I become so tender & loving,
gazing upon the soft sweet innocence of a Baby.
I love looking at Babies. God's masterpiece !!!
Then there are the Ocean's, Mountain's,Valley's.
The Sky,Stars & etc.,everything God has had a hand in.~~~

many things banshee lets see : nature, love, kindness, humanity at its' most vulnerable, emotions, a persons soul or spirit, a great personality, friendship, art and poetry to name a few. there is so much beauty in the world but most are blinded by the ugliness of the world that can't see past to see the beauty.

My old dog is beautiful in everything he does! He is almost blind but manages to 'see' the world in a happy spirit!
