they are just being self-righteous know it alls and something in them gets triggered and reminds them of their own mistakes and/or bitterness.i say dont answer if you cant be helpful and like to put already upset people down further.

What's a pillock? Unless it's constructive criticism, you should just ignore the negative feedback. Besides, you need some negative feedback in order to appreciate the positive ones, you know, the ying and yang, the good and bad, the ups and downs.

Probably because different people have different opinions as answer that may seem helpful to you might not be to someone else. Dont worry about it and let the person asking the question be the judge of that personally when i ask a question i dont look at how many thumbs up/down the answerers have.

I'm fairly new here and I have already come across that. I feel like I'm being stalked by someone that simply wants to give me a thumbs down even when the response was a positive one...hey ho.
Thankfully the majority aren't like that here.

I have noticed that to. It is always the sensible answers who gets the thumbs down. Don't know why that is. Suppose I will get a few myself haha. Have a star for an interesting question. §

'Cause there are people on the internet who think that they can act however they want on the internet and no one will hurt them. Plus, they might want to "eliminate" the "competition" so their answer will be picked as best.
