I've had the rash thing before, and I'll agree, it's not because your unclean. Wearing a pad is like wearing a diaper, so moisture builds up on your skin. You just need to keep your skin dry. Change the pads more often, and stop using the wet-wipe things.

About yeast infections... Your not getting yeast infections, because you are dirty. That's a common belief, but it's just not true. All a yeast infection is, is an imbalance in the chemistry of your vahjayjay. You can get them from not getting enough sleep, consuming too much sugar, monthy hormone changes, wearing a wet bathing suit for extended periods of time, and all kinds of things.

To be honest, it sounds like you might be cleaning yourself too much. Your vagina is a mucus membrane, like your eye. Now, can you imagine how your eyes would feel if you spent all day rinsing them with water and washing off their natural lubricant? The wouldn't feel too good.

Also, are you going to the doctor everytime you have a yeast infection? Is he diagnosing it, or are you? Sometimes, your vagina will feel itchy like you are going to get a yeast infection, but it's just irritated.

1] buy some cotton underwear, without elastic - like boy shorts. This will prevent some of the rashes. If it is light enough to wear just a tampon, go without undewear all together.
2] use plain unscented soap or body wash for sensitive skin
3] quit with the washing/aloe verawipes for a while - see if that makes any difference
4] don't shave pubic hair, if you already do.
5] use an over the counter yeast treatment faithfully for all seven or whatever recommended days.
Have your partner use jock itch medication twice a day for two weeks.
6] Use a condom during treatment so you quit passing it back and forth.
It sounds to me like an external as well as internal yeast infection - you can get it in all the 'nooks and crannies ' down there. Treat all your perineum, and around thighs, in groin etc.
7] If doesn't improve in three days, tell doc to give you a
prescription for Nizoral. [ pills ]

The female body is very sensitive and the vagina is actually slighly alkaline to destroy bacteria and is a self cleaning area. It sounds like you are cleaning yourself to often. By all means rinse the area with water when you wash but avoid using any other products even dove and aloe wipes as the will interfer with the natural balance of the body. Also avoid having long baths especially with bubble bath etc as this upsets it too.

You wont get dirty or smelly by doing this but will be less likely to get infections and rashes!

I think you're washing yourself too often. You're getting yeast infections because you're basically keeping it too clean down there. You have to let the natural yeast do its thing. Stop using the aloe wipes, thats probably whats causing the rash. Just wash once a day with a mild soap (like Dove) and you should be fine.

Stop using the soap as it disupts the natural bacteria of your vaginal area. Do not use the wipes either. You are most likely getting a rash from the pads rubbing. Try changing to a slimmer brand of pad and see if this helps or consider using tampons. For frequent yeast be sure you eat lots of yogurt with live active cultures or take acidophillus capsules daily. Do not sleep in your underwear, do not wear tight pants, wear only 100% cotton underwear (check your lable), do not take tub baths if you have a shower, do not sit around in a wet bathing suit and if you are sexually active have your partner get checked as he may be passing it back and forth to you and do not douche without a docs ok. For now skip the soap and wipes as they could be getting rid of too much of the good bacteria allowing the bad aka yeast bacteria to grow.
