"The eyes are the window of the soul" is exceedingly plenty a genuine old quote. It feels so own to make eye touch, rather with the different intercourse. in case you're shy, this would be very confusing to open your self up in this way. commence small, seek for some seconds, away, then back back. paintings on your self belief and don't be afraid of mere guy!

Not really. I have found that by being able to look at my friends in the eyes while they talk, I am conveying interest in the conversation. Plus I can tell when they start to lose interest by starting to look away. At my job as a federal officer, looking someone straight in the eye displays a little bit of authority and it is easier to tell if someone is lying to me while we are talking.

It certainly does, I notice I have to force myself to look into someones eyes. The person I am talking to must think that I am uninterested in the conversation, lying or what not, but honestly I am a very shy person, and as the old cliche' goes, the eyes are the windows to the soul, I do believe that!

I thought I was alone on this, relieved to know I'm not. Yes, I feel terribly uncomfortable looking into even my mom's eyes. It's a strange feeling.

It makes me uncomfortable, too!!! I even have a hard time looking my best friends in the eye. Maybe it's because I'm shy...

Sometimes.
For a speech class in middle school, we had to look someone in the eyes for a minute straight, and it was someone we didn't know. It was really awkward.

I look everyone I talk to in the eye, It doesn't bother me one bit, and I can usually tell if someone is lying to me.
