That is the stupidest thing I have heard of. The umpire would take one look at the ball and eject you. A baseball with pinetar on it would stand out like a sore thumb. If your planning to cheat don't be so dumb about it.

I've never been a pitcher...and I don't think cheating is a good idea...but if I were you...I'd TAINT it. Put it right up between your legs...act like you're adjusting your cup. Anyplace else other than trying to get it on your scalp but not necessarily in your hair is easily seen if someone is looking for it.
