for him not to file for his Social Security benefits. This way only people that financially need the money would apply for it. It doesn't make sense for a millionaire or billionaire to file for his benefits. The money would still be there in case of a crisis. Just my 2 cents worth about the 4000 lb. elephant in the living room that no one wants to talk about.

Why should the elderly, over 65 that is, pay any taxes anymore? Isn't 65 years (okay, 45) enough to pay into to get so little out?

Why should we have to figure out creative solutions? Why not just quit spending SS money on other things? That way, everyone gets what they put in. In fact, maybe the gov't should invest the SS money so they can spend the profit and pay people what they deserve off of the orginal.
