The Chinese communist government killed its own people and students in Tian An Mien Square for democracy demonstration. How could it be relied to persuade Myanmar to allow democracy and not to kill monks??

China would persuade Myanmar not to crack down and kill monks *only* so that they don't get a black eye on their international reputation before the Beijing Olympics.
Behind the scenes, China couldn't care less whether or not monks are killed, but they would probably like to see that happen--religion gets in the way of China making a quick profit at the expense of people's health and the environment.

Hey, they also do a great job making toys, tires, toothpaste and other vital consumer goods for export. We know they have great respect for other religions and cultures, consider how they've treated the Tibetan Buddhists! Of course they're to be trusted.
The good Laura Bush also believes China can help to stabilize Myamar. And we all know what good judgment the Bush family has when it comes to foreign policy. With all this evidence, it's clear that you're just too skeptical.

Why would a nation, with 1,5 billion people care about 5 monks? 40,000 kids die - d a i l y - on hunger and diseases, does anybody care? In Africa, millions of people are raped, murdered and crippled in the most inhuman way, does anybody care. And you expect China to shed a tear about 5 monks? Get a grip on reality. Only people in the US, fat and lazy, can afford to cry about that.

Any Christian could sympathize with the Buddhist priests. despite the fact that if we don't agree on faith, they are way of life is non violent- and God is all approximately peace.they don't need to be murdered Atheists or not.
