Go to Sears, Walmart, Shucks, a local car parts store. Tell them the year, make and model of your car and they should be able to get you the proper one. I dont think you should try to change the battery yourself since they weigh around 50 or more pounds. Plus you would need to clean the connects properly as well. Most of those locations would install and discard your old battery for you for free. Best of luck to you.

Is this a serious question?

Well, you'll need to go to an auto parts store or Walmart, K-mart to buy a battery for your car.

It's located under your hood and it's probably about 30 lbs. When you go to whichever place you pick, make sure you know the year, make, and model of your car. They should have a book you can look through to find the right battery or you might be able to ask a sales person for help.

You'll also need a wrench to loosen the battery cables to change the old and new battery.

Typically auto parts stores will charge you $X amount plus a core charge. The core charge is basically a deposit that you get back when you return your old battery (they rebuild them).

Please tell me you are not this dumb.

Car batteries are about 40 pound, 6" by 8" by 8" 12 volt beasts.

Go to an auto zone (or walmart, or anything), go to the battery section, and theyll have a book of car battery sizes (ie: look up your car with year, make and model, it will tell you which one you need). Then buy the battery it tells you.
