They died the way the Memphis football player died yesterday. Shot by black men. The leading cause of death among black men is being shot by other black men. The only tragedy is that this practice is romanticized and accepted by blacks... and that the violence, which spread from the ghettos to the suburbs in the 80s and 90s, is now spreading to our college campuses. It is a cancer and must be stopped.

They were both shot to death. Tupac was shot about ten minutes west of my residence.

Both shot most likely by each others posse. They were involved in disrepsecting each other, drug, gang related and rap related disputes.
