I think it's an attempt to keep what little brain there is inside from falling out. Article in our local paper tonight of new fashion hoodies that zip right up over the face, so the wearer looks like hannibal lecter - they are SO nasty

Kids think it's cool !! Something they picked up from watching TV !! Tough gang members started it now it's a fashion statement !!! Kind of scary if you ask me! Crack heads in Canada dress like that all the time !! Helps to hide their identity from the cops!

I have no idea.
Some people enjoy wearing hats, some people like to put their hood up, some like both.
If I'm wearing a hat and a hoodie and it gets really windy, I put my hood up over my hat.

i do that sometimes...it keeps ur ears warm without having to put the hood all the way up. plus, the hat keeps the hood in place. don't knock it til u try it...
