I don't know the exact number but based on people I know and have worked with, very few of them do. My father got a degree in civil engineering and never used it. my sister has a degree in German but works in a courthouse, and I have a degree in electronics and haven't been able to use it. I've been turned down for numerous jobs because they keep telling me I don't have enough experience. I've also worked with people who have science degrees but work as supervisors and administrators. I guess it depends on the type of degree and how much demand there is for people who have it. Otherwise, people get whatever jobs they can and they often don't relate to their degrees.
