pubic hair is there for a reason, it helps to maintain pH balance of the skin down there and wicks away excess moisture which causes the peeling and flaking you are experiencing. The only way you can avoid these things is to stop shaving your pubic region. Allow the hair to grow, and the region will stop itching after about a week. In the meantime, talcum powder, or baby powder will help. You have learned a hard lesson, benefit from it and stop shaving down there.

ummmmmm it is dry skin from saving and also it only itches a few days after is cuz the hair is growing back . but if you use soap it could be drying out your skin or you are haveing a reaction to saving cream you are useing or it is a old razor and you should get a new one or you can use a new brand

Shave it 5 days straight and then keep it short, the reason it is itching is because the hair is growing back in and its not as soft as the full hairs.

The hair as it starts to grow back will make the area itch.

As far as the white flaky skin, sounds like your skin down there is dry...try using a moisturizing lotion on it after you shave.

so did you just start shaving it? mine did that really for quite a few months after i started. first, when you are going to shave down there, make sure you use a brand new razor and use really warm water and TONS of shaving cream. not soap, because it will dry it out even more. try to use a shaving cream that is moisturizing. then, when you are done, PAT it dry, dont rub it dry or that will irritate it even more. lastly, put some lotion on it, but dont use anything that is scented or it could irritate it. and after you put the lotion on, try not to put on your underwear for a little while to let it kind of dry and air out. let me know if it helps!

My aunt had a vaginal birth and she had to have it shaved and boy was she itchy! I would say that it's normal but it's best not to shave because God built us with Pubic Hair to keep bad things out!

Whenever you shave any area, it will take a few weeks for your skin to adjust. Its not uncommon to experience razor burns or irritated-itchy skin for the first few weeks. It should ago away eventually. Just apply lotion or cream after your done shaving.

yes it could be ingrown hairs, or just irritation from shaving. if you don't normally shave down there it might take awhile for your skin to get used to it. just make sure you put lotion on everyday, and it should get better.
