I am in my schools German Club (Students who are enrolled in german class), and we every year have sold German gummi candy (Haribo Roulette). And we got word that we could not this year, supposedly b/c it is "unhealthy", where as the school store, which sells everything from t-shirts to contact paper, can sell things like 3 Muskateers, and Blow Pops, even Fruit Roll-Ups! Is this right? Is there anything that we can do about it?

You can address your concerns to the school board. If they are on a health kick you are more likely to get the candy removed from the store then get your fund raiser approved.

This is a complex matter since there is a double-standard regarding the selling of candy on the campus.
If there is a New Policy that no club can sell candy and the only vendor allowed is the school store, then there isn't much you can do. Changing a set policy is hard because people had a reason to set it up.
However, if you feel that your organization is being singled out and there is no policy it is certainly worth taking up a letter writing campaign from all the members of your club the principal of the school and the School Board. There is usually a public meeting for the school board and you can get your grievance put on the agenda and have it discussed by the board members.
Remember everybody like Gummi Bears -- good luck.

I would approach your student government leaders, and work your way up to the school board.
