Min...I find those small Benadryl plug-ins work really well. Just plug it into the wall near your bed just before you go to sleep, and take a dose of Vicks Nyquil. Together they work absolute wonders!

Here is a great home remedy that my mother taught me when I was young. She never liked the idea of medicine and antibiotics to cure colds, flus, and other such ailments, when nature was full of better alternatives. Before you go to sleep, drink 1/2 liter of Grapefruit Juice, mixed with 1/2 liter Orange Juice. Make sure both are freshly squeezed. I guarantee when you wake up the next morning you will feel a lot better. If you can't have to much sugar, as both these fruits are naturally full of it, then a high dose of Vitamin C supplement just before bed does the trick well.

I just got over a bad cold, so I certainly can sympathize with you. I always like the Vicks vapor rub and a nice hot bath to shake the chills away. Also, you're not whining, that's what we're here for. Oh, and speaking of wine, I believe I hear Mogan David calling me . . .

It's allowed to whine. I am whining today as well.

I spent the whole day at the doctor's office waiting to get an injection in my back to ease my pinched nerve.

I used to get a nasty cold when I worked, but no more yet. This is crazy weather.

Best wishes for your recuperation. I used to get a sinus infection at least once a year.

Min, whine away and I will join you! I have been sickish now for 3 weeks..first with severe allergies; then a bad summer cold; now the ragweed is driving me sicko again! I have gone through boxes and boxes of tissues; benadryl; home remedies, you name it and I am sick of being sick!

Prayerfully YOU will get better real soon!

No, we don't mind. We all need someone to whine to once in awhile and give us a bit of sympathy. I have allergies myself and there are good days and bad. Get plenty of rest, liquids, and get well soon.

Feel better here are some hugs for youoooooooooooooooooooooothere is NOTHING worse than feeling sick. Occasionally I get migraines and it takes so much out of me. Sometimes as you become older your body changes I never became a migraine sufferer until my late 30s. Feel better and take care of yourself:)

Hey I had a lousey day on Monday and made it thru and I whined about it. Make yourself a hot toddy, smear on some vicks and put some water to boil on the stove to add some moisture to the air and flop, flop and flop.
