I just got an email from Howard Dean cause I'm on that email list when he sends out the emails to the public asking me to write my congressman about the Bush vetoing the kids health care thing.
Does he think I am stupid?
These politicans they do this kinda stuff all the time to get the base all whiped up into a frenzy.
Its like this bill, it covered more kids than were in need, its not a good bill it costs too much money.
So Bush vetoes this so the democrats can get us all worked up and bent out of shape,
and the bill wanted to raise cigarette taxes,
so now Republicans are running around like chickens with their head chopped off saying heh look at us we faught a tax cut!
Its like flag burning, they waste their time on flag burning and then go home and campaign on the issue.
Meantime, how many poor kids really are without health insurance?
How about we get a decent piece of legislation for them?

SCHIP added $35 billion over 5 years to add 4 million children who didn't qualify for Medicaid, but their families couldn't afford to purchase insurance.
Cigarette tax would go up to $1 per pack.
I See Nothing Wrong With this Bill.

Wow, that's a lot of questions.
1. Howard Dean thinks that he is smarter than anyone and always has, even when I knew him as the Lt. Gov. of Vermont. He is an elitist and thinks that the world is stupid.
2. Both parties think you are stupid and need to be told how to think since if you think for yourself, most of the party elites will be out of a job. It is just too dangerous for you to think on your own.
I agree with your final question. I think that a lot of the legislation these days is being drafted with the purpose of making the other side look bad and not solving a problem. This is just getting way too ridiculous. We need a Congress that focuses on working and not winning the battle with the other side of the aisle.

I agree with you. It seems that most politicians think we are stupid. I think that the reason is that as a group we tend to act stupid. The TV tells us what to believe and for the most part we do. Now with the Internet, things might get a little better, but only if we as a people get out and vote. It doesn't do a bit of good to have opinions if we are so apathetic that we cannot find time to vote and let those opinions count.

properly i'm no longer American yet I incredibly have travelled there. I evaluate the question is in basic terms a splash stereotyped, it particularly is extremely elementary, the extra you eat, the extra waste you have gotten, fatter human beings are possibly to eat extra fatty nutrients which will make you produce extra gas. meals that try this are: fizzy beverages or milk and cheese and meat. I in reality to locate it particularly humorous that somebody handed out because of this. you ought to look at this with attitude, I recommend, america has created numerous considerable nutrients agencies comparable to KFC, Burger King, McDonalds, warm-domestic canines, Donuts, Pizza Hut, Wendys, Chuck.E cheese. so as which you will no longer fairly choose them for that and additionally in a fashion it must be fairly hypocritical of them in the event that they weren't fat since the it will recommend that they did no longer like the nutrients that their u . s . provided for them! i think of you're being somewhat hypocritical your self, Canadians are not so narrow themselves sixty 5% of fellows and fifty 3.4% of ladies human beings are the two obese or obese. I do have confidence you on the component that that is impolite to fart out loud in public with delight, yet whats up! each u . s . has their weaknesses, it particularly is barely regardless of we ought to besides! (and have confidence me you do no longer even desire to get me all started on the indisputable fact which you think human beings are stupid! the U. S. produces the main effectual individuals on earth)

you just said that the "base" for each party gets all worked up over these things... and often... they are the vast majority of people who vote... have you seen the voting numbers?
so... you basically answered your own question...
because many people are stupid... or else they wouldn't get so worked up...
it clearly works...
