i don't know what does it all mean? how can i tell what kind of soul a person and animal has?

Point refers to "essential meaning". We get meaning when we live for a real purpose. Real purpose by the very definition of the word purpose requires God.
We need our lives to be worth living and living for a real purpose is truly the only way.
If God exists, then seeking Him is truly the only worthy purpose.
If we reject God, then there is no point to life and the question then becomes, "what can I do to help me forget that my existence is pointless?".

You are a human...you can be nothing else. But you will reincarnate as many times as necessary for the purpose of spiritual development. When you have acquired the wisdom necessary for your new role as a spirit guide, you will no longer have to reincarnate. However, until you achieve this wisdom, you will continue to be reincarnated. WE, all of us have a purpose here. See above. So honey, just be the best human you can be. That's all that's necessary.
