Just keep answering as many questions as you can and you'll get there. I think it's based mainly on how frequently you answer something, but getting a "best answer" helps too I'm sure. I was a top contributor for a while but the I lost it when I wasn't on Yahoo answers for a few days.

It takes more work then 1,756 points (Which is a lot.)
Hey, I am a Top 10 anwserer in the baseball section now and im proud.
I didnt get the badge until 5,500 - 6,000 points.
Plus, you have to get the best anwser percentage high. 10 + % high.
Hopefully I can keep the badge and the Top 10.
