I recently saw this show on tv where they go to people's homes and help them clean up their mess.
One time their was this guy who had tons of shoes, and they all smelled horrible. The cleaning ladies adviced him to put a pair of shoes in a plastic bag, then tie the bag with a knot and put it in the freezer for 24 hours. That way all the germs would die and the smell would disappear...
I have never tried it myself, but itt seemed to work...

get a new pair of cheap knee high hose (wal mart target ect). put about a cup of baking soda in each one and tie it up. stick that in your shoes and the odor should dissipate. you may have to do it for a couple of days though. after two or three days, i would change the baking soda.
once the smell is gone, if you put them in each time you take the docs off, they will never smell again.
believe me. it works

For wintry climate, a pair of brown suede boots with buckles and fake fur trim. For summer, a pair of Crocs that look not something like Crocs. they're surely tan canvas slides with a white sole. So snug.

remove old insoles and replace with good new ones, don't buy the cheap ones or you'll regret it later. maybe spray some cleaner on the insides (after removing insoles) and let them dry for a couple of days. then shine and buff outer leather so it breathes well.
