I will be going out with some liberal friends this weekend.
I know, but I'm very lonely and must take what I can get.
At any rate, I'm heaing I should bring plety of money because I'll have to foot the bill and also, try to find a restaurant in a safe neighborhood because if we were attacked by a mugger , they would turn and run.
Should I keep the date or cancel and hopefully, down the road try to find some conservative friends?

I would keep the date but do plan on paying. My liberal friends have this strange sense of entitlement????

I would also choose a vegan dining establishment with illegal immigrant servers. Preferably a place where all of the tips are combined and then re-distributed equally among servers.

Well, if they're "friends", then you probably know what their personalities are like, so you're more qualified to make a decision.

If they're only acquaintances, they just treat them the same way you would anyone you don't know very well. Simply refuse to pay the entire bill (unless you invited everyone and the implication was that you would pay) and picking a safe neighborhood is ALWAYS a good idea.

But do try to find some conservative friends. You'll be much happier. :)

If your just Friends then why are you "footing the bill"? And what does them being liberals have to do with anything? That does not seem to play into this equation....are you leaving something out? I think you need to just say up front that your game but your not the bank or the freaking body guard so each person for them self....100%

ALL of my friends are liberals, it seems, and they know that I'm a flaming Reaganite. But that doesn't stop our friendship! Maybe I'll interject a point here and there but I won't be an a$$hole about it.

My motto has always been that friendship is more valuable than politics. Try to adopt it.

Well, it sounds much more likely that you would preemptively mug someone else first, get the crap beat out of you, then stubbornly continue the fight and insist and cry to your friends that this fight must be sustained until you win.

Cancel! If you want to hook up with some conservative republicans, there are plenty of trailer parks in your area that you can visit.

If I was tempted to hang with Liberals, I'd hang with my dog instead. More interesting conversation.

You rant of generalizing and stereotyping is untrue, cliche, stupid and is the trademark of a bad argument where you can do nothing but say things that you do not know to be fact because you don't have a good argument.

Just watch your wallet because they may take money from you and say that because you have money you should be paying for those who do not.

Also, they wouldn't run from the mugger.

They'd give him the money they stole from you and apologize for you having created a society in which he needs to steal.

Don't do it!

If you're mugged, they will cut and run. They will leave you to fend off the criminal yourself, knowing, as a conservative, you will. Then they will publically label you a "chicken hawk" for not knowing before hand that you were going to be mugged and, therefore, not having taken steps to prevent it.
