I regret to inform you that, regretfully, there is no way to avoid regret. Just do the best you can with the knowledge you have at the time. Then later when you have the perfect knowledge of hindsight, remember that you did not have this knowledge when you needed it. At that point just say to yourself, "**** on this, I'm not going to let it worry me. I did the best I could."

Regret is something that bothers you to the point of wishing it hadn't happened. The way to avoid this is to either think very hard before doing something, or asking for forgiveness to whom your regret is placed.

Regret is the realization that you could have done more, or less, or the same, or different, or nothing at all, and in recognizing that, knowing that you want to, if only to make things a little better, a little happier, a little more your own.
I always want things a litle more my own if only to prove that I exist and that is a good thing.

just like what our lord, i mean lord z said, just be thankful of our existence.... though that feeling is unavoidable since most of the time, there are a lot of should haves and could haves in our lives but dwelling on them is just a waste of energy.

..
An excuse to feel better without really feeling sorry or without having a determination not to repeat the same mistake or error or crime! An eye-wash to hoodwink others & ourselves!
