There are several causes for these brain pain:
1) Headache /Migraine - throbbing headaches and migraine symptoms. migraine headaches with shooting pains and pulsing temples.
2) Sinus headache pain & headache pain aggravated by noise and light.
3) False sense of motion may be caused from injury, migraine, motion sickness, car and seasickness, lighheadness due to postural changes or BPV vertigo
4) Ear infections, such as otitis media
5) long term antibiotic
6) headache following eyestrain. Pain as if from nail. Ocular disorders which can cause headache, from eyestrain focusing problems, to glaucoma and inflammatory conditions of the eye
7) Heaviness, as if weight in forehead
8) Dental: bearing such as toothache, and TMJ
9) headache where there is vertigo, head has strange sensations.dull confusion, vertigo with nausea, neuralgia and dizziness upon rising. confusion of the head, sensation of emptiness
10) Meniere's disease-- it's an abnormality in the fluids in the inner ear. .
11) the scratchy noises might be due to Tinnitus where the person is hard of hearing, but is intolerant of noise. There may be roaring, ringing, buzzing and/or humming in ears.and reverberating to the head..
12) Neuralgia- nerve pain, migraine, vertigo, headache pain due to spinal misalignments
13) Pre-mentual cycle headches
14) Use of salicylates such as aspirin might cause ringing of the ears and thus in head. or brain.
15) Another thing to consider is neoplasms or brain tumors. because of the short sharp stabbing pains. However, bear in mind; that Not every pain in the head will be a brain tumor, however for peace of mind I cannot see the harm in a doctor sending you for a catscan just to be certain. There is much to say if the neurological tests proved to be okay, especially the eye one, as the pressure does present int he eye..so if that looked okay - then generally things should be okay too.
Hopefully it's not the latter, maybe; it's just some factors related to menopause. due to homonal changes.
Or it might be all due to some water trapped in your ear after showering. Anything wrong with your eyes, nose and throat do affect your head and brain due to proximity.
