Cremation. You would not be alive if they prepped you for burial unless you are of Jewish persuasion, they don't believe in embalming the body before burial.
Both my parents opted for cremation, it just makes more sense to do this. No extra expense for a coffin, and the ashes are all that's left, very earth friendly.

I haven't really put too much thought into that until now. Cremation is cheaper but I am with you on the oven thing. I think I would want a regular funeral. I have always wanted to see the person one last time and pay my respect. I would think that the same of my family as well. My Grandmother has chosen to be cremated when she dies. I really don't like that idea at all, but I guess I have to respect her wishes.

This is a good question. A couple years ago I would have said burial, but now having experienced both (not PERSONALLY, obviously..lol) I am going to say cremation. My nana, grandpa, brother, aunt, and 2 friends were all buried and I saw them all in their caskets before they were, and now for the rest of my life when I picture that person, I picture them laying in the coffin dead. However, a couple years ago when my poppa died, he was cremated. I never saw him dead. Now, when I picture him, I picture him as I always knew him... and it is much better that way.

Cremation all the way because it's kinda Gross how a body decompose after time and being buried you have to stay in one place all far from home and your loved ones, and being cremated you can still be close to your loved ones and not stink!

I'd rather be cremated, not as many funeral costs like a coffin and stuff. They can just put me in a wall and I'll be fine. Plus, if my husband decided he wants to be buried or cremated they can put my ashes with him either way.

I'm exactly like you I'm claustrophobic so the thought of being buried is scary but would hate to be burnt ... I think I will go for a burial in the end because I cannot take the thought of being burnt alive or being burnt full stop!! xx

Is someone going to want your ashes? If so then the answer is simple. If not then why not go the typical way and be buried unless of course you don't have insurance in which case a buriel starts off at about $5000 and up so keep that in mind too. But for right now live life and be happy.
