No.
Actually Iraq has shown casualties are down and the surge may be working. The ship set sail on the SSCLinton when she started laughing and proposed $5,000 for all babies. The water was coming in with flip flops on Iraq war including a timetable, HSU and numerous questionable donations, 10 mil from NY left over taken for a Senate run used for a Presidential campaign, denies open tax reports, and so forth. Obama actually has more primary money that she does for the next important 3 months to spend. Media Matters and her declarations of authorship there months ago as now Rush and O'Reilly are targets?
You can not sling mud and expect in that glass house to stay clean. Thank you.
PS What I get most upset with is the constant divide and conquer like communism that is promoted here.

It depends. Generally, the entire party is affected by the person running at the top of the ticket. With this in mind, if Clinton is the Democratic nominee, she's going to hurt Democrats all over the country, even if she gets elected. With the Republicans, they're all going to be flocking to their nominee, and distancing themselves from Bush. The most likely complication Bush will create for the Republicans is that the nominee might have to avoid him like the plague.

Bush and Cheney should be impeach. And states that vote republican and vote repubmocrats should not vote for these people because they are at WAR with the working class as well as the working poor and people on social security. And, they are not taking care of VA services. Yes this Republican White House, Senate, and House have done so much damage to this country, which in my opinion, they have demonstrate they are NOT Patriotic.

Don't you believe it. Bush has accomplished a lot. The economy is better than ever. More jobs, except Blue states. Unemployment is down. tax cuts. lower mortgage rates. Increased interest on savings. The deficit is shrinking. The stock market has rebounded. The surge is working in Iraq.
And he has kept big brother government out of our lives on the federal level.
I would say chances for a conservative are very good.

Bush does not have to run again, so why can't you get your agenda through? You represent the the unblemished left, so you can't override a Veto and you can't get a cloture vote and Bushes brain has been removed and still nothing accomplished. You can't even smear Limbaugh right and Bush with out a brain still dances circles around you.

Don't you think there is something wrong with making decisions solely based on public opinion? If the Republicans and Democrats would start legislating with the interest of the American people in mind (as opposed to their campaign's interests in mind) then there would be more progress.

As much as I hate neocons and love to see bush fail, bush will be a rich man in 2009 with no worries but America will still be in big trouble.

Yes it definetley effects them. Theoretically they are at a disadvantage, its relatively rare that a single party holds control of the Presidency for more than eight years, the last time it was more than that was 1980-1992 when George Bush the 1st got 1 term after 8 years of Reagan.

I believe that voters are free thinkers and evaluate each candidate on his/her own merit. Would you also say that the George Soros funded and led democrat party has the same burden?
