He could be the balance that they need if he can stay clean. He is very talented, but has to get over the drugs. NFL has given him one to many chances.

I've thought about this. I just don't see the Packers staff going for it. He's too big of a risk. They took a gamble on troubled WR Koren Robinson last year and that didn't turn out too well. Talent doesn't mean much if history proves a player can't keep clean. The Packers like to keep a good image and I think Ricky Williams is definately not an option. Morency is getting healthy and Green Bay will stick it out with him and the other backs they have.

Wow Rick Williams and Koren Robinson on the same team. Maybe Favre will plead his case to come to the team how he did For Robinson to be allow to have contact with the Packers while on suspension. Williams is still under contract with the Dolphins and what is a trouble running back with a passion for weed worht these days?

If GreenBay would take him?GB dont like Troubled players who act like Idiots and dont learn with bad attitudes. That has a lot to do with the pass on Moss.
Ricky would have to show that he realy wanted it or GB wouldnt touch him.Ricky also has to be reinstated by the commissioner before he plays anyware
Brett and Koren must have realy showed them something in personality.Koren will be back soon but they need a running game.Hope they get it soooooon.

He should go back to Toronto...
Part of his problem in the NFL, and this would happen in any city, is that he didn't react well to all the attention. Last year in Toronto, he played well, he liked the city, and the fans and media left him alone for the most part...
Not as much money, but he's already made enough that he could still do this and do well.

That will never happen. The packers are doing too well to change running backs.
