I don't. But I don't have anything against people who do, I just don't know of anyone and I was curious to see if anyone did.

I do not for the most part am disappointed in his performance. There are those who agree with him though and support him. Let's say only 10% of the people support him (that is too low I think) that would be something like 25 million people. So while he may not be the most popular of people he still has alot more support than any of us would ever imagine for ourselves.

Just because I don't like the job Bush has done it does not mean I don't respect the presidency. And it also does not mean that I think a lying thieving crook like Hillary Clinton would do nearly as well.

Apparently 4 times more people support him than the Democrat led Congress.

It seems Congress now has a 10% approval rating, but that makes perfect sense due to the fact that Reid and Pelosi run it and they're the biggest idiots in Washington, followed closely by Kerry, Murtha and Durbin.

I do. I am not a resident of the US but a citizen. I believe that no one ruins anything in 4 (or 8) years and no one fixes anything in that time. I also believe that history will show that there are many things about which we had no idea - good and bad because, really, the public at large is ignorant. We don't have all the facts available but even if we did we wouldn't review them in a way that gives us a right to judge, okay maybe very political author, Barry Eisler, would but not the public in general.

Liking (supporting) George Bush is quite a different thing from respecting the office of the President of the United States.

I take issue with several of his policies and actions during his administration. However, at the end of the day he is our commander and chief and as such should be accorded appropriate respect, if not for the man, at least for the office.

Yes! The guy was voted into a second term in office.

It's very easy to ask questions like this now, but back in 2001, my lack of support for the President's plans was treasonous. I was unpatriotic for not blindly following the incoherent reasons passed onto the herd.

I suspect that many of the same people that strongly supported the president then don't now and pretend that they didn't then.

Yes, I support President Bush. He is a good man. He has done some good things: the economy, the war on terrorists, vetoing the expanded insurance/welfare program.

I'll answer your question with a question. If in 4 years, Hillary & Bill Clinton are co-presidents and they have screwed up the government more than Bush has, can I ask you the same question?

Be honest...

Well amazingly enough, Bush still has about a 30% approval rating, so almost one-third of Americans still support him.

Personally I find that very hard to believe.

I don't support everything he's done, and he has made more than his share of mistakes, but I think he's sincere in what he's done and deserves the respect that the office of the President of the United States entitles him to.

Considering his rating has gone up while the Democratic Congress has gone down, I'd say that was a yes.
