Isn't that like a guy wearing a tie with a T-shirt?
Plus, when I see someone wearing heels and jeans, the jeans are usually wide at the bottom and go all the way to the ground, so the shoes are almost completely covered. What's the point?

heels make your legs look a mile long, which in turn makes you look skinnier. Plus they look far better than some chunky lame tennis shoe. Plus aren't men fascinated with women in heels? which do you find more sexy, tennis shoe or heel?
it would be similar to why men would wear a loafer with jeans instead of tennis shoe...it just looks better.
Also i would never wear heels, jeans a t-shirt together. I would be more apt to put on a dressier shirt to go with the shoes.

Heels give you the illusion of long legs and a slimmer body. Besides it looks cute and a bit dresser than flats. I do both depending on the jeans I am wearing and where I am going.

Maybe the girl/woman likes high heels. And, if the jeans are long, with flats, she might be dragging her jeans legs on the ground. Sounds like personal preference to me.

Well, for one, it makes me feel sexy. Two, it makes my legs look longer. Three, I can wear longer pants and not have them drag on the ground. Four, it makes a pleasant sound when walking. Five, it's easier to walk sexy when wearing heels. Six, it looks cute to have part of the heel show instead of a chunky shoe.

You’re thinking heels = dress up. I have to disagree. Heels are good for just about any level of dress.
The length issue seems to be just a trend right now, but I think it’s an accidental one. Most regular length pants are made for women 5’7 and under. So if you’re 5’4 and you buy a pair of regular pants, something has to be done with the extra length. Either get them tailored or buy taller shoes.

Heels aren't only for dressing up, there are causal and formal heels, and it's still nice to wear them even if they're covered up, because they'll make your legs look longer.
