I'm a teacher and I use the word "awesome" a lot. Not very original but the kids like it.

Mine is Wow! Come to think of it, though, I use the same word when somebody becomes so insulting or snippy that no response will be adequate. Or if I witness something special. Guess it's my all-purpose reaction word.

I say cool some too....long time habit for me! lol

However, when I am speaking to my grandchildren, I say okey-dokey!

I usually say "Yeah, Buddy" but sometimes I'll say "sweet" just to annoy people. "Cool beans" is equally annoying.
