If you 'choose' to go though life having others think you're fruity, then fact is, it is your choice. You would have to be enjoying it, else you wouldn't go that way. Real is not what ever we choose it to be. It either is; or it is not. Everyone has the choice to believe whatever they want to believe, and their own responsibility, for what it is they choose. You are old enough to get your parents to tell you the truth, because life is a 'big world', and you are going to need to have your wits about you!

Santa Clause is a figment of other peoples imaginations, and Christianity is about Jesus, if you want to adopt the imaginations of others at your age, how will you have a healthy mind to cope with the Real World, and be OK? Hope that is helpful .... ..

Santa lives in the hearts of people. Think about it. People become helpers of Santa every year and many work to make sure even the poorest of Children have presents from Santa. I drive a 1500 mile loop through three states to make sure Santa's Teddy Bears and presents get delivered.

Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas, Kris Kringle, or simply "Santa" is a legendary and historical character associated with bringing gifts on Christmas Day.
Saint Nicholas of Myra is the primary inspiration for the Christian figure of Santa Claus. He was a 4th century Christian bishop of Myra in Lycia, a province of the Byzantine Anatolia, now in Turkey. Nicholas was famous for his generous gifts to the poor, in particular presenting the three impoverished daughters of a pious Christian with dowries so that they would not have to become prostitutes. He was very religious from an early age and devoted his life entirely to Christianity.

You're not weird to believe in Santa because he is based on St. Nicklaus (an actual saint), so in reality, he was a real person. It doesn't matter what people think about you, if you want to believe in Santa then follow that believe. Some people may think you're weird because you believe in someone they don't, but the same is true of all religions. So don't feel you have to justify your beliefs to every person you have to meet. And when people tell you they think you're weird, just ignore them.

St. Nicholas gave presents to the undesirable (often oranges and funds). the story a pair of flying sleigh and Santa coming down the chimney is a artifical tale. the story of the actual Christmas is in Luke financial ruin 2 of the Bible and concerns the beginning of Christ. The word Christmas is predicated on the words: Christ's mass. Jesus Christ got here to this earth to furnish the suited present ever-- eternal life. you are able to't purchase or earn this present -- all you're able to be able to desire to do is settle for Jesus as your guy or woman saviour. John financial ruin 3 additionally interior the Bible explains the magnitude of Jesus' present to people. there is not something incorrect with the artifical aspects of Christmas-- egg nog, Christmas tree, Santa, Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer. yet we could desire to continually all remember the 1st Christmas, which had none of those issues. not even snow.

You can believe in it be to festive and enjoy the Christmas holiday spirit (even though it should be about Jesus and not Santa)

But you should not believe it becuase you think that he's for real. Really, there is no fat man flying around being pulled by Reindeers. If you do, then I would agree with your friends that you're weird.

How old are you anyway?

T.V., Media.
Kids now a days don't have an imagination because everything thats in the media is suppose to be REALITY. And it is really hurting our society.
I was talking recently with my boyfriend about how they don't show cartoons anymore like they did when we were growing up. I'm just 23 so that wasn't long ago. Even Cartoon Network have sitcoms now. Kids are growing up to quickly.
