I'm with TD Canada Trust i have a debit card but no check book so how do i find the bank transit number and the institution number? all the other answers say that the numbers are on the bottom of your check or whatever. Where should I look?

It's usually the first 9 digits on a printed check. I don't know if debit cards have that though. Call your bank.

The transit/routing number is the first 6 digits on the bottom of your checks. If you only have a debit card and not checks, you'll need to call your bank or go to your local branch and request it.

The number location may be differnt in Canada. Call or go to your bank and ask them.
