Don't you find this to be a terribly naive thing to say?

You can't put the genie back in the bottle in my opinion.

That reminds me of the gun debate. They say, "if we pass this law everything will be safe." Never mind that criminals don't worry about laws. It's the same with nuclear weapons. People like Mackmood I'ma wack job don't care about laws. They do what they want.

Especially so, when he is the leading advocate for building nuclear power plants in this country. That shows that not only is he unconcerned about the future storage of nuclear waste but the possibility of terrorist attacks on our nuclear
facilities. Mike Gravel has a much better answer for ending our dependence on foreign oil and it simple, windpower.

his plan is to continue where bush senior and clinton left off in reducing the number of missles the US (4,000) and Russia (1,000) have plus ban the production of fissionable materials then over time bring down the total amount of nukes everyone has

its not hard to figure out if someone is producing fissionable materials look at north korea and iran (iran is still in the early stages though and have apparently suffered some setbacks in thier program, they are years away from a bomb). north korea just today announced it will dismantle its nuclear program and bombs and allow full inspections.

either way the whole implementation of his program wouldnt likely even be in our lifetimes

hes not throwing away our missles and opening the door for china

nicely, George Soro's military, Media concerns use yet another sort of weapons: propaganda and incorrect information. Soros' approach is to apply persons to do the grimy activity. He discovered that interior the conflict whilst he grew to become right into a nazi squeal and nazi collaborator. He is conscious that lies, smears and character assassination are extra effective in a capability conflict. He sent 1000's to Auschwitz using such approaches..

Martin S - the kook that voted your answer down is likely a kook that will vote Obama in the primary, Clinton in the general (once she kicks his *** out of it) and will believe anything he's told by a politician if that politician's political affiliation starts with the letter D. He also apparently believes in fairies.

Well I woudl love for it to happen, the problem is the last group or person to have them will rule over the rest of us with an iron fist. This is the reason there are so many in the first place.

You're absolutely correct. That comment by him is political suicide. Anyone with a brain can realize if the US destroys its stockpile then it becomes a sitting duck for an invasion or nuclear assault.

This is just naive, idiotic blather that will appeal to naive, idiotic people. There is no damn way this can ever - EVER - happen and is an absolute waste of time to even think about.

It would be great to outlaw n.w., but that doesn't mean every other country must outlaw them too, then we're stuck at a disadvantage if we're the only country that doesn't have them.
