LargeMarge - I'm sorry that happened to you. I know you are feeling devastated, but just know something else will come up.
I used to work in HR (Human Resources). I worked with new hires, getting them settled in their new jobs. Often (more often than anyone would believe) a manager would come to me and tell me that they didn't think a new hire was going to work out and I would have to process them out of the company. Or a new hire would come to me and say the job wasn't what they thought it was going to be and they no longer wanted the job.
If a person can make it through the training period and the first 90 days then they usually will stay. A lot of people don't, so please don't take it personally.

I was at my job for four months and told 2 hours before my "last day" was today. Laid off. That is the scary part of the job market.
I feel very badly for you because I know how you are feeling. The only thing I can say is, just pick yourself up and start looking for another job. That is what I had to do. It is awful and stressful, but don't get weighed down by this. Just look ahead, don't look back.
I wish you the best of luck and I hope and pray you will find another great job soon. Hang in there.

No that has never happened to me.
Look at it this way, why would any one want to work where they are not wanted?
Especially if you did nothing to provoke such behavior on their part. Try not to dwell on it.
Because if you take on the attitude why bother trying. No one appreciates it.
That will have a negative affect in going out and searching for a new job.

The same exact thing happened to me 2 years ago. It sucks when you are let go of with little or no explanation.
I just looked at my situation as the job not being for me. If you found that job, you'll get another, and I bet it will be a better one. Mine was.

Reverse pyschology yourself...,think that the job doesnt deserve your service and there is other oppurtunity out there really meant for you..., just waiting for you find it....its only natural to feel depressed, cried it all out let the sun set bring it(depression) down with it...,but dont let the sun rise with it,`coz sun rise bring hope and a new day to have a new start.....

This happened to me on my 89th day before. It was the day before I was to get medical insurance and a pay raise. I don't know what may have possessed them to do this to you. Maybe you had higher ethics than they were looking for or maybe they all of the sudden realized that they could not afford to keep you. Chin up sweetheart, the right job will come along.

well that sucks. I would ask for an explanation for why you were terminated.
And don't give up looking. You will find something better than this job, and your former employers will regret letting you go.
