A friend of my told me what it meant a few weeks ago, and now I pretty much only say that, instead of 'bye' and stuff.

Nope. How would I? Stuck on this darn island for seven years, in a haze of ouzo and wine and feta cheese, I seem to have forgotton my American slang. I recall at one time I used to say 'totally' a lot, and also 'hella', as in 'that was Hella cool'. Now I just say 'get out of my class before I shoot ya'll, demon spawns!'

When my exquisite manners are in place, I use only proper address; otherwise I'll just say "later" or "outta here". Quite a disparity, I know.

TTFN always reminds me of Tigger from "Winnie the Pooh".
