Yes I do! My hubby is deployed to the Gulf Region and believe me ... as much as I love email, nothing quite replaces a good ol' letter in the mail when you are separated. We have been married for 15 years and the younger spouses who don't write don't know what they are missing by not using snail mail ....

Not for communication any more and I must admit that snail kind of mail had a warmth, the excitement of opening the envelope, touching the paper, seeing the handwriting of the sender...

Nowadays, I use snail mail only for birthday and other kind of cards.

Very rarely and only when I really have to.

I enjoy it when at work someone sends me a snail mail memo, which I would scan and attach the image to my e-mail reply.

Of course!

I mail something out through the USPS at least 4 times a week.

So many places don't have printers and there's nothing special about having a stack of e'mails anyway.

A printed e'mail is going to smell vaguely like ink. A handwritten letter is going to smell like your loved one. It will be in their writing, including all the little scratch-throughs where they had to change something, or just wrote it really sloppy.

It's easier to draw a little happy face in the margin, and make it really personal and happy. E'mails don't really have that.

Real mail is the way to go when you're in love. :)

Yes! It's great using regular mail. Email is fun too, but you have to send letters and cards still!

Yes I do! I think we need to keep certain traditions alive. Birthday cards are convenient on email But there is something good about finding a letter or card in the mailbox, at the end of a long workday.

there is a few thing romantic and nostalgic approximately getting a letter from somebody interior the mail and analyzing their handwriting (if it somewhat is legible lol), in a manner it makes me experience closer to them...i desire snail mail

I do. I love sending hand-written cards and colorful stationery. I prefer receiving hand-written correspondence from loved ones, too.

In terms of formality and sincere expression, a hand-written letter/card conveys an extra soupcon of care that I find lacking in emails.

sure...sometime its fun to whip out fancy or fun stationary and hand write a letter. Be creative, rather then the generic crap that e.mail provides, plus its fun...as a designer, I much rather hand make a card for a friends special occasion. However, at work...e.mail is the way to go, it's WAY faster!
