You remember all in the family starring rob reiner and carrol o'conner? We all thought it was funny and laughed at it but looking at it objectively years later the liberal left was actually was putting down middleclass america as being illiterate and out of touch. Rob reiner turned out to be just a meathead liberal and Carrol O'conner was not much better.

One needs to realize how deeply ingrained liberalism is in media in general. They control most of the educational institutions in America as well. The result? They only ever hear one point of view.
Then, this group only talks to, listens to and hangs out with other people that share that same point of view. What eventually happens is they begin to actually believe that theirs is the only point of view. What happens at that point is what you see among most of the writers, actors, directors etc. in televising and the film industry.
They all start to believe that what they think is reality. They do not even consider that their views are out of step with the rest of society. They no more question the liberal point of view than the average person walking down the street questions gravity.
When they say that they are not writing stories or screenplays or dialog or late night jokes with a liberal bias, they would probably pass a polygraph test. There is no doubt that their writings are biased but they really don't see it. They are no longer capable of recognizing their own prejudice. They really don't know they have any.
I have met a few of them in my life. If you engage them in a debate and walk them through to the correct, logical, conservative conclusion, they are often completely dumbfounded. Often left speachless as you might be if someone proved to you that the moon really is made of green cheese.
Once you shine the light of reason on the liberal view it starts to dissolve. This is why, once so engaged by a true conservative they quickly run out of ammo and start hurling insults. That is why they prefer to discredit all those who oppose as being (lets all recite it together, now) racist, sexist homophobes.

The only green the hollyweird liberals care about is the money in the bank. These liberal hypocrites won't cut down on their lavish lifestyles yet they want the rest of us to live in the stone age. Just like a typical Callyfornya liberal.

With hundreds of channels 24/7 your going to tell me that Hollywood ALWAYS presents the liberal point of view? Any time one speaks in such absolutes they are bound to be proven wrong. I would say that most cop shows and especially the one reality ones like COPS present a more conservative point of view. Shows like Law and Order basically show both sides.

A little thing about that which has always frosted me. In any movie that has a strong liberal character facing off against a strong conservative character, the lib is played by a lib as strong, level-headed, law abiding, self-sacrificing and heroic. The conservative is played by a liberal as shrill, war-mongering, hateful and a coward, at heart.
1) Why must they always be written this way, when it is normally the other way around?
2) How in the world can an ultra-lib possibly know how to portray a conservative? They had James Brolin playing Ronald Reagan, for crying out loud. If you want a conservative in your movie, at least be honest enought to allow a conservative to play the part.

If they come out and say what they really mean, they would lose viewers, and what good would that do. The subliminal brainwashing is much easier.
Do you remember the protests when The Passion of Christ came out?!? Or for that matter, Nativity?!?
That's right, there's nothing wrong with them forcing their opinions upon us.

I would trust Hollywood to all things concerning movies.
Actors know nothing more about politics than anyone else.
If they weren't handsome or pretty they'd work at Mc Donalds.

Because Hollywood writers and producers have freedom of speech? Feel free to make your own film containing lots of good conservative values: judging others, gay bashing, suppressing women, keeping poor children poor, pretending to boost education while taking money away from schools, pretending to support troops while cutting their funding, etc.
I'm CERTAIN it would win an Oscar.
