have had a husband who passed away? I was just short of 24 when my first husband passed away as a result of a freak accident, we had no children together. We were married almost 5 years. Even though it's been 13 years later and I'm remarried and have 3 children, I still think of my first husband, look at his pictures on occasion and the odd time I even have dreamed about him. Please share with me your story. Thank you.

my best friend since birth lost her husband in May of this year. He died fighting in Iraq...she just had thier first baby in July. I must say this was the hardest thing imaginable and she is very happy to have this baby she says without her she couldnt have gone through this. its like a little piece of him came back. they were only married a little over a year but spent 5 years togther dating. She says she cant see herself moving on.... but i think its still early. I think she will and i think she will feel the way you do now. He will always be in her heart and in their daughter. We miss him and its hard but she keeps going, shes the strongest person i know. they were high school sweet hearts and thats their story.

as u know noone can ever replace the place in ur heart of someone that u loved even though u have a new luv i had a relashionship that that jus couldnt work out (we had alot of other priorities 2 work out and well those things got in the way, like my son ws having alot of emotional problems at the time and i had 2 devote all my time 2 him and work)but we parted as friends im married now and tried 2 move on but i still sometimes dream and wonder about him.like if hes doing ok or not i know some people would think of it as wrong of me but u cant stop ur feelings.and i never truly allowed myself 2 get over him.i know its not the same as losing someone through death its much much worse but i know how it feels 2 feel that u just didnt have enough time w/ that special person and if u hubby anything like mine they just dont understand
