Computers have limitations to how much RAM you can install. Are you sure that your computer can use more than 2 gigs of RAM? It has 4 slots because some people use smaller size RAM. Your computer is probably only able to have up to 2 gigs. 2 gigs seems to be the limit of most computers now a days. Check with the manufacturer to see if it can support anymore RAM.

Look in the Bios to activate the added memory.

Hi. I checked several site with reviews of that machine and none say any more than 2GB RAM are supported. http://computing.kelkoo.co.uk/ps_17486560/111801.html for example.

Vista x86 (32bit) versions only see 2gb of memory. If you had the x64 (64bit) version, it would see about 128gb of memory.
