Clarke is a typical liberal. He has no basis for any of his statements other than someone told him what someone said about something someone thought they heard on Rush's show. I heard both the moring update and the show which have created this controversy. Believe me, what is being said about Rush is absolutely a lie. The senators who continue to commit this lie need to be removed from office. Each and every one of them should be sued by Rush to have them removed from office as penalty for their slander and defamation.
Further, it is clear that the left wants the fairness doctrine enacted. For you liberals out there, pay close attention to this. Rush has disagreed with the policies of the left for years and the left is attempting to prevent him from voicing his opinions. That is a right guaranteed under the First Amendment that you spout all the time. Your people are attempting to have government control over what you hear on the radio.
So how long will it be that your voice is no longer listened to when your socialist democrats get in office and prevent you from your free speech?
Be afraid of these liberal democrats.

General Clark fought in Vietnam and was wounded. He still bears the scars on his body. At the time of the Somalia event he was not a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He was the NATO Commander in Europe. Responsibility for Somalia came under the aegis of U.S. Central Command. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the time was Army General Hugh Shelton.
I may disagree with General Clark's political stances and I do. However, he served honorably and bravely in the Army for many years. To suggest otherwise is a vile canard!

Gen. Wesley Clark served his country with honor. Have you? I'll take a respected general's opinion over that of the King of the Smear Tactics blowhard opinions any day, and over yours as well. As you sit there and try to smear a respected general's honorable record you show you have no honor of your own.

Just because he is a patriot, doesn't mean that he is an evil person. Just because he is a military expert, doesn't mean that he is evil. I wish you Republicans would get off of your hating the troops kick and let the Democrats solve the problems that you have created.
Rush Limbaugh made discusting statements which should, in the real world, get him fired. I know you rightwingers are all against personal responsibility, but just this once, could you come down on the side of morality and ethics? Isn't there anything too imoral for you Republicans to support? A crime too large, a sin too great? Anything at all?

He's a Soldier who served his country honorably. He's had bullets fired at him in anger. His opinion is more valid than Rush, O'Reilly, Hannity and Coulter's. Why should their opinions about war or Soldiers count at all? Why would you value the opinion of someone like Rush, who purposely avoided serving his country over someone who has?

Why is it that when liberals question the motivation of a general in presenting a report that agrees with his Commander-In-Chief's well-known views, we are disloyal, but when conservatives impugn the honor of one of the finest soldiers this country has ever produced, that's OK?

Wow. That's pretty harsh. I think you need to switch to de-caf, man. You're stressing way too hard over what one quy you don't know said about another guy you don't know.
I won't mention your selective memory on dead american soldiers, you seem stressed enough already.
