I'd save the cats until you're totally desperate. Do you have an annoying neighbor, or maybe a stray dog that roams your neighborhood? You could mix them up with some Hamburger Helper and strech your meals a lot farther!

Actually, I have been there. If you like Italian, you can buy 2 boxes of ziti and 2 jars of Ragu Sauce (or a generic kind). The pasta sauce can last you up to 4 or 5 days.
Or get a box of ramen noodles and a case of "Sams flavored water(12) at Walmart and that should last you all week.

yes, just imagine how much more money you'd have without buying them food, litter, vet trips, etc. My freeloading cat is about to get the boot, he doesn't even clean up after himself, what a lazy sack of poop.

would you eat your baby? of course not. you don't say when your next pay day is. mine is in two days, so if i were in your shoes, there are plenty of things you can eat for less than 7 bucks. pasta is WICKED cheap for one thing
