It takes tax dollars to broadcast his show.

"Tax dollars are used to fund Armed Forces Radio, and that money is not intended for radio show hosts to spout insults at our soldiers. These "phony soldiers" have simply exercised their right to free speech, as Rush Limbaugh does on a daily basis. Simply because a majority of our troops who return from Iraq disagree with Rush on Bush's failed war policy does not give him the right to dishonor their service."

No. He's a reprehensible and hateful man. I used to listen to him. He's a complete toad. Anyone could do what he does. All he does is speak of things of which he knows nothing about.

Yes, I think it was you that mentioned that our tax dollars were funding (in part) his program, so that the armed forces could have the *priveledge* of listening to someone exercise their freedom of speech. Only to hear him bashing the US of A, which is what they are fighting for his right to do that. Hm, no great loss for them, I'm thinking.

It was members of the armed forces who REQUESTED that Rush Limbaugh be available to them on the Armed Forces Radio Network?

So the answer to your question is yes. Our troops who are overseas deserve to have radio programs THEY WANT TO LISTEN TO.

The same would be true if they wanted to listen to Air America. Oh wait, no one wanted to listen to Air America, and that's why they went bankrupt.

If we have to pay Kennedy, Barak, and Hillery in the Senate, then we have to pay Rush on the AFRN.

I think it is time for the troop-hating racist to be taken out back to the woodshed. Imus was taken off for much, much less. I'd like to see the rightwing at least make a pretense to having some moral standards.

Sure if we have to have our tax dollars go to NPR and I don't like some of their shows.

The thing is that is what they want to get is Rush so why not give the troops what they want to hear?

Another liberal trying to use the government and 'situation' to deny freedom of speech. Amazing. And you guys talk about Bush trampling the Constitution. Amazing. And, I'll just bet ya'll don't even see it this way. Amazing. Simply amazing. But not surprising.

Should tax payers be forced to pay for left wing propaganda as demonstrated by CNN (chicken noodle network) and their counterpart MS NBC (most slanted news broadcasting company).
