I watched the game in HD Monday night. Directv has it in HD, and I understand it will be channel 219 on Comcast cable in the Chicago market.
The Directv HD feed of this game was a better picture than ESPN ever has too!

Not only will it not be in HD, I'm guessing there will be no mics on the bags and manager interviews. They also have poor camera angles, Ben Stein-Like announcers and no fancy graphics. Granted, it is still baseball which is enough to keep me glued, but let's get with the times.

It IS in HD, but you would have to have IO or Comcast. Maybe another cable source provides it.
