Is it because we humans still kill each other over meaningless artificial borders or useless symbols like flags and stuff like that? When are we going to evolve to that next level so what we can advance technologically?

any number of reasons, in no particular order
1. ETs don't exist (implausible, considering the vastness of the universe)
2. FTL and/or suspended animation is an impossiblity, despite time warp and worm hole theories
3. ETs act only as observers, unwilling to reveal themselves.
4. ETs are or have been here and can somehow conceal themselves.
5. WE are the most technologically advanced species in the universe! (truly, a hilarious notion!)

What possible interest would aliens have in Earth? We are to the aliens, as the bottom of the ocean is to the average person. We know it's down there, but who wants to go look? Ok, some very specialized interests do go there, and I guess some very specialize aliens would be interested in what's going on in this gravity sump.

But, are they the kind of aliens you want to get to know? They got to be geeks...

your right, they probably think if we find out there is other life in the universe,we will start a war with them or accidentally blow ourselves up trying to nuke them.
