im asking again casue no one gave me the answer i needed
Can you get married twice?
serious question.. if you get married in las vegas is it possible to still get marreid somewhere else to someone different at a later date?

im not married.. and have no intention of getting married.
from the uk and a friend of mine said shes getting married to her other half in vegas at christmas because if you get marreid in vegas you can still get married to someoen different in the uk without having a divorce..

im sure this isnt true and would just liek to know

Only if you divorce the first spouse.

Bigamy and polygamy are ILLEGAL in the United States and in most Western countries.

Of course you could move to Colorado City, Arizona (or Hilldale, Utah). If you do, say hi to Warren Jeffs for me. Oh wait...he's not there anymore. He's in jail.

i dont know if that is a fact.. but it doesnt seem right?.. then people will just do it all the time..Las vegas chapels, are legal way to marry and if you want to marry again like any other .. you either file for divorce...etc. I guess you will have to search into the UK marriage/divorce/law/

I've no idea abut Vegas marriages, but if a marriage is legal it is legal and you can't get remarried without getting a divorce first.

not true, marriage is the same in Vegas or any orther state....
She is not free to marry someone else... bigamy

no, I don't think you can. Why would she want to anyway? That's wrong. It's also called bigamy or poligamy to have two spouses and is illegal in most places.
