Inca children "fattened" up for sacrifice: study
"It looks to us as though the children were led up to the summit shrine in the culmination of a year-long rite, drugged and then left to succumb to exposure," said Timothy Taylor, a researcher at the University of Bradford.
The noble savage.

See? right off the bat, the first poster defending this "different" nonsense.
Stone-age and savage Islamic practices aren't just DIFFERENT, they are WRONG? Is that so hard to do?

Yes, no civilization has a more accomplished history of great explorers, inventors, philosophers, artists, musicians etc. Western civilization is also responsible for the creation of democracy, & the rule of law. It isn't racist to think that Western civilization is great, & that it should be perserved.

I do not know all the facts and I admit that but what happened if they were so above and beyond Western civilisation before when did they start slipping and I have nothing against Islam or Muslims there are many Muslims working in medicine and science in the western world but look at countries like Iran, do you think that is the way forward

You're using the Incas as a source for your racist diatribe? Someone *did* explain to you that the Incas lived a long time ago (at least since before Rush Limbaugh started broadcasting), and beyond that, they actually lived in "The West"...right?

Recently, Russian Patriarch Alexiy II bashed European Council for their forgetting of the principles of Christian morale and increasing homosexual propaganda.
Many European parliamentaries left the congress hall in protest.
They, probably, felt some superiority... from behind.

Are you saying NASCAR, beer and cigarettes is the ultimate in cultural sophistication and development?
Whew, that's a really bad sign for humanity.
P.S. What is the difference between Jesus' sacrifice and worshiping it and Inca sacrifices?

On balance, no culture is "superior" to another; it is merely "different." Viewing through such a filter as superior/inferior only perpetuates ignorance, in the long run.
Speaking of which: America *is* multi-cultural, like it or not. Without multiculturalism, we'd all be much poorer.

Ok, I guess it is fair to compare us to an ancient civilization. But to make it even more fair, let's compare western civilization from just a couple of hundred years ago, then, shall we? That makes sense, right?
Let's see. Slavery. Women treated as property of their husbands. Child labor. Barbaric medical practices. The poor left to die in the streets of cities.
What a superior culture we have. I'm so proud, I could cry.

My standard reply to inane, ethnocentric assertions like yours is that my ancestors invented gunpowder, a written language, and a civil service structure while yours were still living in caves and wearing next to nothing.
